September 11, 2023.- This Saturday, September 9, more than a thousand people gathered in the second section of the Chapultepec Forest to participate in IKAN with KIO, the race with a cause that goes one step forward for health to benefit the treatments of children and young people with cancer of the Casa de la Amistad Foundation.

"We chose a race because those of us who have fought against cancer, know that this disease is a race against time, in which we need to have allies to help us in one way or another, and that is what we wanted, that more people join the KIO Family to reach the goal and completely change someone's life expectancy," said Erika Dominguez, director of Strategic Planning Communication and Human Capital at KIO.

IKAN with KIO raised more than 328 thousand pesos and had three categories: a 3 km walk and 5 km and 10 km races, designed mainly for runners who wanted to challenge their limits.

Casa de la Amistad is a Private Assistance Institution that is committed to raising the survival rate of children and young people of limited resources who suffer from cancer in Mexico. It currently supports 30% of the children treated by the health sector and has carried out more than 13,160 treatments to date, with more than 5,000 children and young people under surveillance (without cancerous cells in their bodies).

"At KIO we would like to thank our sponsors: Guzdan, Pico Love, Acsys, nTechnology, Cincel and DoIT for joining this cause, undoubtedly the union allows us to carry out actions that really benefit the people who need it most”.
