CEO
Jorge has been our CEO since January 2022. He joined KIO in 2010 as Administrative and Finance Director. Later, he became Co-CEO until 2021.
Previously, he was the Finance Director at Softtek, Director of Financial Advisory Services for Deloitte and he has held different positions in finance, strategic planning and advisory areas for over 28 years.
Jorge has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from ITESM and a MBA with a specialization in Finance from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his postgraduate studies in Administration at Harvard University.
HR, Strategic Planning & Corporate Communication
In addition to her primary role as Human Resources, Strategic Planning & Corporate Communication Érika also heads the KIO Foundation, Corporate Volunteering and the organization’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
Since the beginning of 2021, she has represented KIO with the CANIETI.
From 2007 to 2017, she headed the Marketing area of KIO. She was also responsible for the internal services department and physical security for the company’s facilities around the world. From 2002 to 2010, she served as the head of Human Resources. In 2002, she participated in the NCubo Holdings transaction. In 1996, she worked in the infrastructure sector, specifically in the Railway Sector and the extension of fiber optics in Mexico, Chile and Argentina.
She has studies in creative leadership and innovation facilitation certified by the International Studies Center of the State of Buffalo and the State University of New York.

He has a Bachelor’s in IT from ITESM and postgraduate studies in Strategic Management from Universidad Anáhuac, Business Management from the IPADE and Innovation from the University of Stanford, and Behavioral Economics from Harvard University.

Prior to joining KIO in 2013, David worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as the director of investment banking and held various positions at UBS.
David has a Bachelor’s in Science from ITESM and a master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

CMO
Ricardo is responsible for the development and management of the marketing strategies for the organization’s business units. He works to position the KIO brand and to direct customer preference through all channels, including consumer experiences, digital marketing actions, advertising and sponsorships.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Ricardo has contributed his talents as the Marketing Director for Dish Media and the Creative Director at MVS TV. He has headed up the creative areas for production companies and mass media, developing successful advertising campaigns for very important brands, as well as content for talent of international stature.
Ricardo’s greatest strengths are his creativity, drive and leadership. He loves challenges, particularly those that expand the scope and positioning of brands. He is a Spider-Man fan and loves chewing gum.

CA&C Risks and Internal Control
Since 2018, Marco Antonio has contributed his solid knowledge on strategic planning, documentation and process automation, project management and budget management, standardization and integration of processes, policies and procedures for consolidation of the corporate governance at KIO.
He has over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, with involvement in the direction of certification strategies, resource optimization and business management systems. He served at Altec México of Grupo Financiero Santander as the General Manager.
Marco has a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative IT, he participated in the management training program at the IPADE and has certifications in ITIL, ISO 2000, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 14001, ISO 9000, PMO, implementation and interpretation of standards. He is currently studying his Master’s in Comprehensive Business Administration at Universidad Iberoamericana.
KIO Data Centers
Santiago joined the company in 2005 and has experience in sales, channels, marketing, operations and finance. Santiago’s main achievements include the creation of a cross-selling strategy between the KIO business units, closing of strategic alliances and the expansion, design, construction and startup of operations of Data Centers in Mexico, LATAM and Spain.
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana, and an MBA from Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE). He holds the following certifications: Certified Data Centre Design Professional, Certified Data Centre Management Professional and Data Center Design Awareness.

Octavio is founded MásNegocio, a company that merged with KIO as KIO Application Management. He also heads the Advanced Analytics business unit, which is focused on AI and Data Analytics services. He is also responsible for business development in KIO .
Octavio participates in the Risk Capital Industry, supporting investments and entrepreneurs, including participating as a member of the Angel Ventures México Investment Fund Committee and on the Endeavor selection panels. He also serves as a mentor.
In 2015, he was recognized in Líderes Mexicanos “Nuevos Emprendedores” (Mexican Leaders “New Entrepeneurs”) and in 2012, he obtained the “Entrepreneur of The Year Mexico 2012” award granted by Ernst & Young. In 2006, he was recognized as one of 30 promising figures by the Expansión magazine.
He has a Bachelor’s in Economy from Lawrence University (Magna Cum Laude) and a Master’s in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy government school of Harvard University.

KIO Spain
Javier heads up the TIER IV Data Center operated by KIO Spain, in Murcia. His professional career builds off his abiding interest in information services and technology, complemented by business administration studies.
He began his career in the IT world at Dimoni Software, a company dedicated to the development of business management software, where he grew to the position of Commercial Director. Then, in 1994, he moved to form part of the IT team of El Corte Inglés, where he eventually was promoted to Regional Director of Levante, a position he held until February 2014, when he joined our company as the General Director of KIO Spain.
